​​Amelia Village Recreation Committee



The  Primary Responsibilities of the Recreation Committee are:

- To plan, organize, fund, and staff as needed activities of a recreation n
ature for residents of the Amelia Village.

- To assist in the planning and development of a park facilities master plan for Amelia. 
   
- To work with Village Staff to determine financial needs as it relates to provide recreational activities and Park facilities in the Village.   

- To interview and recommend to Village Council hiring of all contractors and consultants that it deems necessary to accomplish it’s responsibilities.


We would like to thank the Recreation Committee for their willingness to volunteer their time and energies to ensure creation of a great Parks and Recreation Department for the Village of Amelia.

If you have an idea for other events or facilities that you would like to see, and especially if you are willing to help make your idea come to life, please contact Derrick Campbell, Recreation Committee Chair  at 513-753-4747 or John Hyder, Administrative Coordinator @ 513-718-9135 at the village administration office.  Meetings are held once a month, at 6:00 pm on the 3rd Thursday before the Council meetings at 119 West Main St.


All meetings are open to the public.

Spencer Shank and Groh Parks can be reserved by Amelia Village residents.  Just $25.00 for a 4 hour rental.  The fee can be paid online and the paperwork can be emailed
or you may stop in at the administration building at 
119 West Main. 



Village Resident - $25.00 for 4 hours

Non resident - $50.00 for 4 hours

A deposit of $30.00 is refundable following satisfactory inspection of the shelter
