The pre-employment process includes, but is not limited to:Interviews with the Chief of Police, Police Administrative Staff, and the Village Mayor. Complete Background Investigation that includes a polygraph examination, and investigation of criminal history and drug use. Psychological and medical exams, including a drug screen. Applicants must also be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid Ohio driver's license, and be an OPOTC certified police officer. Some college is preferred.
