Neighborhood Watch
The Amelia Police Department’s Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program, which enlists the active participation of Village residents in cooperation with the Amelia Police Department to reduce crime in the Village. Neighborhood Watch is a highly successful effort that has been in existence for more than thirty years across America. It provides a unique infrastructure that brings together local officials, law enforcement and citizens to protect communities. Neighborhood Watch encourages active participation of residents by being willing to look out for, and report suspicious activity. In doing so, residents take a major
step towards assisting us in achieving our mission of partnering with the community to provide a safe and secure environment.
